Exit Planning

The U.S. Small Business Administration observes that "At any given time, 40 percent of U.S. businesses are facing the transfer of ownership issue" and "the primary cause for failure .... is lack of planning."

Just as it can take years to build a successful business, it is equally important to allow time to plan a successful exit from that business. We provide closely-held business owners with a comprehensive and customized approach to the Exit Planning Process.  As members of the BEI Network of Exit Planning Advisors, we know how to guide you to a successful exit.

 

Using a systematic Exit Planning Process, you decide:

  • When you wish to leave your business;
  • What amount of cash you need when you exit; and
  • To whom you wish to sell or transfer the business.
