As a registered investment advisor and a CPA, Steve specializes in serving high income and high net worth individuals, including physicians, attorneys, professional athletes, consultants and other entrepreneurs. He prides himself on getting involved in all facets of a client’s financial life, offering lifelong guidance from their current situation on through to achieving retirement goals.

For instance, Steve will sit down with a client and discuss short and long term goals. From this discussion, he will offer proactive tax planning advice in order to minimize taxes. He is then able to create a financial plan for the future which includes maximizing savings and looking ahead to retirement planning as well. His expertise as an investment advisor allows him to then be directly involved in assisting with asset allocation. Additionally, he both advises on and monitors his clients’ investments in order to continually stay on track with their goals.

A practicing CPA since 1970, Steve joined Ostrow Reisin Berk & Abrams, Ltd. (ORBA) in February 2006 and became a director in June 2007. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS). Steve is a past Chairman of the Board at Opportunity, Inc. and a past board member at Chicago Commons and Cancer Wellness Center in Northbrook. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
