CHICAGO — ORBA, one of Chicago’s largest public accounting firms, is pleased to announce that Dan Cameron, CPA, MSA has joined the firm’s Tax Group as a Transaction Advisory Analyst.
“Dan will be a strong asset to ORBA’s leadership team,” said Mark Thomson, Managing Director of ORBA. “His extensive experience working in the transaction advisory area will add more depth and expertise to our team and allow us to continue growing this key service for our clients.”
Dan has more than 17 years of experience in public accounting, working with corporations, individuals and partnerships in several industries, including manufacturing, e-commerce and technology. He is skilled in handling a wide range of mergers and acquisition matters for closely-held, middle-market and private equity clients, including planning to minimize taxes and leading tax due diligence engagements. In addition, he is proficient in managing the income tax compliance process and providing tax advice to minimize or defer federal and state income tax liabilities for his clients.
Dan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from The Ohio State University and his Master of Science in Accountancy, with a track in Tax Services, from the University of Notre Dame.
