CHICAGO — ORBA, one of Chicago’s largest public accounting firms, is proud to announce that Stephanie Zaleski-Braatz, CPA has been named Chair of the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS) Young Leaders Council (YLAC). She will serve in this role for a two-year term through March 31, 2024.
“Having served as Vice Chair of ICPAS’ YLAC has helped me further understand the Council’s mission and the impact it has on young accounting and finance professionals,” Stephanie said. “As Chair of YLAC, I am excited to continue helping young professionals get involved in ICPAS’ programs so that they can strengthen their professional connections and skills.”
As Chair of YLAC, Stephanie will be responsible for managing YLAC meetings, leading the annual Firm Ambassador Training meeting and attending the Young Professionals Leadership Conference, among other events that will benefit its members.
Stephanie has been with ORBA since 2012, beginning her career with the firm as a tax season intern. She has experience in both for-profit and not-for-profit industries. Her not-for-profit experience includes schools, museums, and other charitable organizations.
