Overview

Jake McKinney is a member of ORBA’s Tax Group. Jake has experience with processing and managing tax forms for various types of entities, including partnerships, S- and C-corporations, trusts, and individuals. He also has experience with pass-through entities that file in multiple states. Throughout the year, Jake will also provide and update income projections for clients to make sure that they both are aware of their tax situation and to prevent any type of penalty.

Proactive

Jake is a strong believer in updating procedures to make the daunting task of taxes far easier and more efficient for his clients. He tries to maintain consistent contact with his clients to make sure they are involved in every step of the tax process. If they have any future concerns, he is well informed to assist in estimating and informing them of potential tax liabilities.

Outside of the Office

Coming from California, Jake enjoys traveling to new places. When he can manage to find the time, he likes to either drive long distances or to take the train. He has driven from the West Coast to the Midwest and the Midwest to the East Coast, and plans on visiting each state in the near future.
