Markus is ORBA’s Chief Operating Officer. He possesses expertise in building and leading teams to support all aspects of the firm’s organizational structure and processes. His responsibilities include the oversight, development, and implementation of the firm’s strategies and initiatives. These encompass key performance indicators, such as future growth and expansion, as well as the coordination of tactical action plans for managing the firm’s operations.
Prior to joining ORBA, Markus held comparable roles at a financial planning firm and a CPA firm providing compliance, cybersecurity, cyber risk, and privacy services. He brings more than thirteen years of experience helping professional service firms develop and manage performance models, business operations, and human capital needs. Markus has a proven track record of success in driving operational excellence and achieving strategic objectives.
Markus is also a member of ORBA’s Community Outreach Committee.

Outside of the Office
Outside of the office, Markus enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and two dogs. His interests include traveling, swimming, spending time outdoors, and working around the house and yard. Markus grew up in Germany and enjoys trips back to Europe and other destinations near and far.
