Overview
Markus Richter joins ORBA as the firm’s Chief Operating Officer. He is skilled in building and leading teams to support all aspects of the firm’s organizational structure and processes. His duties include the oversight, development and implementation of the firm’s strategies and initiatives. These include key performance indicators, such as future growth and expansion, as well as the coordination of tactical action plans for managing the firm’s operations.
Prior to joining ORBA, Markus held similar positions at a financial planning firm and a CPA firm providing compliance, cybersecurity, cyber risk and privacy services. He brings more than ten years of experience helping professional service firms develop and manage performance models, business operations and human capital needs.
Markus is currently a member of ORBA’s Community Outreach Committee.

Outside of the Office
Outside of the office, Markus enjoys spending time with his family, friends and two dogs. His interests include traveling, swimming, spending time outdoors and working around the house and yard. Markus grew up in Germany and enjoys trips back to Europe and other foreign destinations.
