Overview

Kristin Dunner is a Director and the head of the firm’s Tax Group. With more than two decades of experience in public accounting, Kristin has successfully and strategically collaborated with clients to navigate an extensive array of tax and business-related issues.

Kristin is well-versed in advising publicly-traded and privately-held entities with their U.S. tax and business needs. Moreover, she has experience assisting clients with addressing federal and state tax compliance, tax consulting, strategic planning, income tax controls and risk assessments, and income tax accounting related matters (e.g., accounting for uncertain tax positions, deferred tax analysis and other ASC 740 considerations). Her experience covers a diverse range of industries, including retail, manufacturing, professional services, technology, pharmaceutical, aerospace/defense and utilities for both inbound and outbound entities.

Foundational to serving her clients, Kristin seeks to thoroughly understand their business operations and their short- and long-term goals. Kristin is known for her strong professional relationships and personalized approach to servicing her clients. She possesses outstanding project management, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to prioritize, delegate and manage her time to provide exceptional service to clients. She believes in developing, nurturing and sustaining deep professional relationships so that she can identify key tax planning opportunities when they arise to meet the needs and objectives of our clients.

Outside of the Office

Outside of the office, Kristin enjoys baking, walking, traveling and spending time with her sweet pup, Luvvie. Some of her favorite destinations are Costa Rica, Maine and the Upper Peninsula
