CHICAGO — ORBA, one of Chicago’s largest public accounting firms, is pleased to announce the appointment of Kristin N. Dunner, CPA, MSA as a new Director and Head of Tax. With more than 20 years of experience in corporate tax consulting and strategic planning, Kristin will be using her expertise to oversee and direct the firm’s Tax Group.

Odzer, CPA, MST and Managing Director. “Her years of experience as a leader and her in-depth knowledge of the tax landscape gives her unique insight into the accounting and advisory needs of our clients and how we can work together to effectively strategize their tax planning while they navigate a changing business market.”
Kristin has experience assisting clients with federal and state tax compliance, tax consulting, income tax controls and risk assessments, strategic planning and income tax accounting related matters. She also has a has a wide range of industry experience, including in retail, manufacturing, professional services, technology, pharmaceutical, aerospace/defense and utilities for both privately-held and publicly-traded organizations. In her previous role, Kristin developed and implemented changes to internal processes which helped to create efficiencies that could be implemented throughout her firm.
Kristin earned an MSA from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, as well as a Bachelor of Science in both Economics and Accounting from the University of Southern Maine.
