CHICAGO —  Ostrow Reisin Berk & Abrams, Ltd. (ORBA), one of Chicago’s largest public accounting firms, is pleased to announce that Stephanie Zaleski-Braatz, CPA has been appointed as Vice Chair of the Illinois CPA Society’s Young Leaders Advisory Council (YLAC). She will serve in this role for a one-year term through March 31, 2021.

This is the third year Stephanie has devoted her time and efforts to YLAC. She previously participated in the Young Professional Firm Ambassador Program.

“I am honored to be appointed as Vice Chair of YLAC,” Stephanie said. “I look forward to continuing my mentorship to young professionals entering our profession and am dedicated to helping them on their career path as future CPAs.”

Stephanie began her career with ORBA in 2012 as a tax season intern. She has significant experience in both for-profit and not-for-profit industries. Her not-for-profit clients have included schools, museums and other charitable organizations. Stephanie also focuses on employee benefit plan audits and is a member of ORBA’s Employee Benefit Plans Group. She also is proficient preparing tax returns for not-for-profit organizations, individuals and corporations
