Alex McGowin is a member of ORBA’s Tax Group. He has more than nine years of international tax experience, providing tax compliance and consulting services to individuals and businesses. He is proficient in preparing and reviewing individual, corporate and partnership tax returns and consulting with multinational clients on restructuring their foreign tax attributes. He has also co-led international tax training seminars for new associates, as well as trained tax accountants on international tax-related consulting and compliance engagements.

Proactive
Alex uses his experience as an adjunct tax professor to help develop the technical and professional skills of his team members. He believes that guiding junior-level tax staff is essential for enhancing the effectiveness of deliverables and client service.
Outside of the Office
Outside of the office, Alex enjoys spending time with his family and being outdoors.
