Overview
Maria Siourounis is a member of ORBA’s Audit Group. She began her career at ORBA as a tax season intern, where she analyzed financial data for personal and business income tax preparation. She is well versed in various aspects of financial reporting and accounting and has experience in conducting tax research and performing various audit procedures. She works with clients from a variety of industries, including real estate and health care as well as high-net-worth individuals. Maria is currently pursuing a Master’s in Taxation at DePaul University.

Proactive
Maria thrives on collaboration to ensure that she delivers exceptional client service. She was formerly a supplemental instructor in financial accounting, where she produced weekly review guides and conducted personal and group study sessions for students.
Outside of the Office
Family-oriented, Maria relishes spending her summers in Greece visiting her family. When home in Chicago, she enjoys going to museums and restaurants and exploring the various activities the city has to offer. Maria is a great fan of musical theatre and looks forward to attending the many exciting Broadway shows that come to the Chicago theaters.
