With more than 15 years of experience in delivering comprehensive assurance and advisory services, Michelle Haines is a Director in the firm’s Audit Group. Her expertise spans across a variety of industries including construction, manufacturing, technology, professional services, and not-for-profit organizations. Michelle is adept in managing audit, review, and compilation engagements, consistently delivering high-quality service and timely results.
As an Audit Director, she skillfully handles complex assurance engagements for the firm and effectively coordinates audit engagement staff to complete all fieldwork, always ensuring the delivery of exceptional service. In the past, her role has extended beyond auditing; she also has fulfilled chief financial officer and controller responsibilities for various clients. This includes preparing financial reports and disclosures in accordance with GAAP.
Michelle has demonstrated her ability to navigate risk environments by developing and implementing testing methodologies tailored to her clients’ unique needs. She also played a significant role in the rollout and maintenance of the new ASC 842 Lease Standard.

Outside of the Office
Outside of the office, Michelle loves to spend time with her husband and three children. She also enjoys gardening, cooking and traveling.
