Position Summary:

Accounting Team Lead, Cloud Services
Position Summary:
We are an elite accounting firm headquartered in downtown Chicago in the NBC Tower that allows 100% remote work by anyone in the USA. Our team is seeking an Accounting Team Leader who will mesh well with our team and our clients. POSITION SUMMARY:
ORBA is looking for a self motivated, detail oriented Administrative Assistant to support multiple directors/ managers throughout the firm. We are looking for someone who is able to multitask and provide a high level of support by performing a variety of administrative tasks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works a hybrid schedule and comes into the office at least 2-3 times a week
- Manages multiple Directors/ Managers simultaneously and can multi-task and prioritize requests

Position Summary:
The Director of Family Office Services will consult with clients on wealth strategies while overseeing and reviewing investments amongst financial and legal professionals. They will establish and maintain a financial and operating environment that will focus on the family’s core values. Senior Manager, Transaction Advisory Services
Position Summary:
ORBA’s growing practice has an opening for a Transaction Advisory Analyst to help clients analyze, structure and manage the entire transaction process. You will join ORBA’s team of highly talented professionals at every stage from structuring businesses for possible eventual sale, preliminary analysis of existing companies for future transactions to post transaction review and financial reporting. As part of our team, you will work closely with company executives and ORBA’s leadership team to help analyze tax and legal structure, letters of intent, purchase agreements and related documents along with financial statements to provide our clients the information and advice they need to make critical decisions. You will be responsible for research and due diligence activities related to transactions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Review and communicate tax consequences of transactions for both the business entity and its individual owners and provide commentary and suggestions based on client’s needs
- Structure transactions in a tax efficient manner and assist in negotiations as needed
- Recognize and communicate the impact to value of deal terms within acquisition documents (i.e. LOI, purchase agreements, etc.)
- Re-compute, interpret and review net working capital adjustments, earn out calculations and related items throughout the payout term

Audit Senior
Position Summary:
The Audit Senior is responsible for overseeing audit, review and compilation engagements and is responsible for resolving most accounting issues that arise during these engagements under the guidance of the Audit Manager and or the Audit Director. The individual will perform some engagements with minimal supervision and will direct staff and instruct them in the work to be performed, review the work completed by the staff and direct necessary revisions.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervising the work of audit staff including reviewing their work and provide on the job training
- Conduct basic, specialized and complex financial, operational and compliance audits under the direction of the audit director.
- Perform risk assessment prior to the beginning of an audit engagement.
- Prepare the most complex work papers, to adequately document accounting & audit work performed and to support the conclusions reached.
- Prepare draft of financial statements and management letters. Will be expected to wrap up the engagement in a timely manner.
- Perform reviews and compilations
- Report progress of the audit, compilation or review engagement to both Audit Manager and Audit Director regularly
- Perform audit or review procedures as assigned by the Audit Managers or Audit Director
- Conduct research, prepare memorandums and summarize findings
- Demonstrate ability to assume responsibility for supervision of the daily fieldwork of engagements and client contact
- Prepare very complex individual, trust and business tax returns
- Prepare an evaluation of the staff on the engagement at the end of the engagement but give guidance to the staff when necessary during the engagement.
- Perform other miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned.
Experience and Skills:
- B.S. in Accounting or Finance
- CPA preferred
- 3-5 years of progressive accounting & audit experience in public accounting
- Minimum of 1 year leading audits
- Experience preparing tax returns is a huge plus
- Experience with for-profit and non-for-profit clients
- Outstanding written, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills
- Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced and results based environment
- Strong leadership, business development, training, coaching and mentoring skills
