CHICAGO — Ostrow Reisin Berk & Abrams, Ltd. (ORBA), one of Chicago’s largest accounting firms, is pleased to announce that Larry Sophian, CPA, and a Director at ORBA, has been reappointed to the Board of Directors of Alternatives, Inc., a multicultural youth development agency serving more than 3,000 young people and their families in the Chicago area.
Larry will serve Alternatives, Inc.’s Board as Treasurer for a one-year term. He has been involved with the organization since 2007, previously serving as Chair of its Finance Committee.
At ORBA, Larry serves as Co-Chair of the firm’s Not-For-Profit Group. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for the financial statement audits and other related activities of numerous not-for-profit organizations. In addition, Larry specializes in managing the financial matters of health care practices and also serves as Chair of ORBA’s Health Care Group.
