Victoria Pitkin
Victoria “Tory” L. Pitkin brings more than 20 years of accounting and auditing experience to ORBA. She specializes in reviewing financial statements for compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), generally accepted auditing standards (GAAS) and other professional standards, including those established by the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) and the AICPA’s Statements on Standards for Accounting and Review (SSARS).
Throughout her career, Tory has utilized her auditing expertise to develop and present training on new engagement standards, including risk assessment and clarity standards, as well as consult with her firm’s engagement teams on efficiency techniques and develop appropriate audit responses to identified risks. Her experience has also led her to author works related to professional auditing standards and prepare responses to proposed accounting, auditing and ethics standards on behalf of the New York State Society of CPAs.
Jonathan Efrem Joseph, CPA, CGMA, JD, MBA has experience in accounting and financial advising, joining ORBA’s Audit Department. He specializes in corporate gift sales development; evaluating emerging corporate growth opportunities; and performing due diligence, data gathering and financial analysis for potential mergers, acquisitions, commercial arrangements and joint ventures.
Kristin Harrigan has experience with assisting engagement teams with audit work papers and is adept at utilizing various accounting and bookkeeping software.
Jessica Wu is a member of ORBA’s Audit Department. She has experience with preparing federal and state tax returns, partnership and corporate tax forms; updating and maintaining general ledgers; and organizing tax returns, tax work papers and related documentation in online data management systems.
