CHICAGO – ORBA, one of Chicago’s largest public accounting firms, is pleased to announce that it has established a women’s initiative group called the Women’s Alliance Group. Leading the group’s initiatives are Jacqueline Janczewski, CPA, MBT and Cara M. Wills, CPA.
“The Women’s Alliance Group will be dedicated to creating and maintaining a community where women thrive and excel through career growth and personal development,” said Jacqueline Janczewski, Co-Chair of the group.
The Women’s Alliance Group strives to meet its mission through the following goals:
ADVANCEMENT – Increase progression and development of women at ORBA in leadership positions while providing the tools necessary for women to succeed.
TEAMWORK – Commit to assisting, supporting and challenging each other in our career paths.
RETENTION – Address issues women are facing at ORBA and be a resource.
To date, the Women’s Alliance Group has hosted panel discussions on various topics, such as confidence in the workplace and communicating during difficult times. The Group has attended various leadership summits and other group events.
“We look forward to providing even more opportunities for women to network, develop their skills and learn from one another,” said Cara Wills, Co-Chair of the Group.
