CHICAGO — ORBA, one of Chicago’s largest public accounting firms, is pleased to announce that Rachel Valentine, Robert Huesing and Kelli Gibson have joined the firm’s Tax and Audit Groups, while March Washelesky has joined the firm’s Marketing Department.
Rachel Valentine joins the firm’s Audit Group as an Audit Associate. She is knowledgeable in managing accounts receivable and payable, invoices, reconciliation, write offs and bill pay. Rachel is also skilled at using various marketing and finance platforms to develop organizational strategies that increase productivity. Rachel earned her Bachelor of Arts in French from the University of Virginia.
Robert Huesing joins the firm’s Tax Group as a Tax Associate. He began his career at ORBA as an intern during tax season and joined the firm full-time in 2022. Robert is experienced in preparing income tax returns for individuals, estates and trusts, and S corporations, as well as assisting with the preparation of financial statements and performing tax research for clients. Robert earned both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Kelli Gibson joins the firm’s Tax Group as a Tax Senior. Kelli comes from corporate tax where she managed the tax provision of multi-national company for many years. Kelli has much experience in accounting and tax, including with international, federal, state and local tax. She specializes in accounting functions such as attestation services, preparing financial statements, bookkeeping and tax preparation for individuals, corporations, partnerships and s-corporations. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Illinois State University.
March Washelesky joins the firm’s Marketing Department as its Marketing and Digital Communications Manager. March brings their expertise in both creative and technical writing to the team. Their responsibilities include being the editor of the firm’s extensive blog platform, overseeing the website and its content and managing all traditional and social media. Additionally, March oversees the firm’s Intranet site to ensure efficient and effective communication among colleagues and throughout the firm. They earned their Bachelor of Arts in English from Ohio University’s Honors Tutorial College.
